Welcome to Peak Wellness TV: A Place for Thoughtful Wellness and Real Life Health

Hi, I’m Briana wife, mom of three, and someone who, like many of you, has been on a journey of asking tough questions, digging into the research, and learning how to better care for the people I love most. I’m so grateful you’re here, because this space Peak Wellness TV is truly a labor of love born out of lived experience, a lot of trial and error, and a deep desire to share what we’ve learned in hopes it helps another family, maybe yours.

Our Story: From Overwhelmed to Informed

Our turning point came, like it did for many families, during the pandemic. My husband began facing some serious health issues, including a diagnosis of fatty liver disease. At the time, we thought we were doing “all the right things” he was taking supplements, trying to be mindful of his diet. But after some alarming lab results and digging deeper, we discovered that some of the very supplements meant to help him were contributing to his decline. The road he was on could’ve led to liver failure.

At the same time, we were navigating other challenges with our kids. One of our sons was diagnosed with ADHD, and our daughter began showing signs of what her doctor described as ARFID an avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder. She had a lot of anxiety around food, and we were constantly worried about whether she was getting the nutrients she needed.

Honestly, it felt like our family was being hit from every angle. But instead of giving in to fear, we leaned into curiosity. We started reading labels more closely, questioning ingredients we’d previously ignored, and making gradual shifts one small change at a time.

What We Discovered

As we began making more informed decisions about what we were eating and what we were bringing into our home, the results were both surprising and encouraging. My husband’s health improved significantly once we eliminated certain supplements and focused on whole, nourishing foods. Our son’s behavior and focus began to stabilize not through medication, but through food, routines, and a gentler approach. And our daughter? With time and patience, she began to open up to nutrient-dense foods she actually enjoyed, especially once we eliminated ultra-processed snacks and inflammatory oils.

This wasn’t an overnight transformation. But it was powerful. And it opened our eyes to how much misinformation and overwhelm is out there especially for busy parents just trying to do their best.

Why Peak Wellness TV Was Born

We created Peak Wellness TV as a way to share the things we wish we had known earlier. It’s not about being perfect or following the latest trends.
